Why hello there, guest! Allow me to be the first to give you a big, warm welcome to Doctor Who Fates! This is a fanbased role-play site based around the Doctor Who universe. Fancy, ain't it? I'm here to help you through the joining process to make it as simple and painless as possible. Let's begin, shall we?
Before we send you off to create your own character, we must review the basics. I will be joining you once more on the following pages:
Rules- a list of standard rules for the entire forum and how to build a character
Plot- a little blast from the past to see where our adventures will go... hehe, read if you'd like some insight
At this point, you will probably be tired of reading and feeling impatient to start your RP adventure. You humans are always so funny like that. Impatient. Oh, sorry, didn't mean to deviate from the point.. *eh hem* So let's begin telling you how to apply.
Here at DWF, we have two types of character applications:
Canon Character Application- if you wish to claim a character from the Doctor Who series, you will have to submit this application
Original Character Application- if you wish to create your very own character in the Doctor Who universe, you will be asked to use this application
Once you have completed filling out this application, post it in the Pending Applications board. Just click the link, my friend. This is where your friendly neighbourhood staff members will review your application and either accept it or give you a few tips for improvement. Don't worry, we don't turn away anyone. We will PM you for days on end, or however long it takes for you to reach success! My only request, dear guest, is that you put a "work in progress" (or WIP) on all applications that have been posted but not quite completed.
Once your character has had the go ahead, you must claim their playby so nobody else can steal your face! Imagine it! Someone running around with the exact same face as you. Scared, aren't you? Well, prevent the fear and claim your playby here. While you're in the claims, you may as well tell everyone who you are.
If you have any questions, don't forget about your helpful Administrator... that's me, in case you didn't know. Alternatively, you can contact any of the staff or even post in our handy little cbox located at the bottom of the site!
