This has definitely helped shape his vanity.  Ten's bone structure is fine, fingers long and slim, and barely any muscle visible anywhere on his body. His hair is dark brown, thick, and always sticky-uppy, a perfect reflection of his wild personality. He has more side-burn than any other incarnation and is proud of that fact. The Tenth Doctor has two main suits he always loves to wear: a dark brown suit with blue pinstripes, and a blue suit with red pinstripes. He is in love with his red and cream white converses and wouldn't trade them for any shoe, not even the combat boots his predecessor favoured. Another favourite of his is his light brown Duster-type overcoat. He has a curiosity almost too large to contain which motivates and propels him to travel time and space. The Doctor just wants to go, see, explore, learn, and help in anyway he can. Compared to past incarnations, he is very compassionate and merciful, even going as far as offering to help enemies that he had just interrupted their plans. All who is loved by the Doctor sees his love for people and ability to create close friendships with people. Some could even go as far as exploring his romantic side, if he isn't off being rude every so often. Ten is a deeply romantic incarnation but is unwilling to admit it. Despite his two very big hearts, the Doctor has a very serious side to him. He was not a man that gave second chances. When he stopped enemies, he would offer them his service but was quick to cut them down if they tried to double-cross him. The boy who stole a Tardis and ran away. And he has been running since. Running even harder since the pain of the Time War is always close behind. Would the guilt ever go away? Ten often speculates about how many children there must have been on Gallifrey at the time of its destruction. The daleks had been stopped, Time Lords had been stopped, but at the cost of the Doctor's conscience and freedom of mind. The Tenth incarnation arrived after his predecessor consumed the entire Time Vortex into himself  in order to save his companion Rose. He had been quick to comment on his looks, instantly reflecting his vanity, and promptly past out to recuperate after a regeneration well done. It was Christmas, of course, and from the first moment of waking up the Tenth has had many, mant adventures with a plethora of cherished companions.  Rose Tyler was this incarnations very first companion.  Together, they travelled through the stars and encountered wonderful and horrible places and things such as New New York, Platform One, Scotland in 1879 to stop a werewolf and be knighted, and so much more. There adventures only brought the two closer together. Did the Doctor love Rose Tyler? He would never say... so much was left unsaid when he left her beind in Bad Wolf Bay in the parallel universe. But he is certain they will see each other again. Next on the line is Martha Jones. When The Tenth Doctor was inspecting the very hospital Dr. Jones was a resident at, it was transported to the moon by the Judoon (funny, that). It was their first adventure together but the Doctor was apprehensive about making Martha a full tiem companion due to the hurt he experienced with Rose. But after Martha's help with tracking down the Plasmavore, he thought it only fair to give her a reward in the shape of a trip. The two soon grew into a powerful duo, making Ten reluctant to drop Martha off. She had experienced Carrionites in Shakesperean times, New Earth in the year 5,000,000,053 only to be stuck in the motorway most of the time, and erven fighting daleks. In the Year that Never was, it was Martha Jones that travelled the world and saved everyone from the Master's fate. Ten knew at that point on he would always love Marthas Jones as a very close friend and vital ally. Of course between this time the Titanic crashed into his beloved Tardis. The adventure that persued caught him off guard. He never would have thought his hearts strings would tug at the purly starstruck Astrid Peth. The two survived the bombardment of meteors that struck the Titanic, no thanks to Max Capricorn, the creator of the ship line. Their adventure was a success, Astrid managed to destroy Capricorn... but at what cost? The Doctor promised to take her throug hthe stars... will he get that chance? In his adventures with the firey Donna Noble, the woman who helped him fight the Adipose Industries, pompeii during the volcanic explosion only to find out aliens were to blame, helping Ood in the Ood Sphere, rescuing Charlemagne from a computer, and stopping the Sontarans. The dynamic dual continued their travels, ending up on Messaline where Jenny Smith was born. At first the Doctor was not keen on taking to her. She was born out of violence, something he understood deeply and rejected. But she learned a way of kindness, and he learned a way of acceptance. He also met future wife River Song at a library.  As a final good-bye to Donna Noble, he wiped all memories of him. Why? The bees on Earth were disappearing, planets were going missing, and the culprit was no other than Davros. The Doctor reunited with Rose Tyler, Martha Jones, Mickey, and more to stop Davros and his plans. In the process, a metacrisis Doctor was born, the Doctor Donna appeared, and all was restored. However, due to the Time Lord destroying Donna, she was at risk of dying. The only way to save her was for Ten to erase her memories. It shattered his hearts but he knew it was the right thing to do. Many more adventures had been had... and many more are to come. He had been a man who laughed, who loved, who hurt, and who destroyed. The weight of embodying all these emotions was beginning to weigh on his ancient shoulders. His face was a dark and serious, eyes fixated on the console controls before him but not quite seeing them. The pulsing of the Tardis was the only soothing presense.  Ten was lonley. It had been three months since he travelled with anything at all, and the lonliness was beginning to kill him. He knew it, has been aware of it for centuries, that he was a better man with a human at his side. Humanity was precious, forgiving, and so full of potential. They knew exactly what strings to pull to milk compassion and service out of the Doctor... and he gladly gave it to them. With a new look of determination crossing his face, the Doctor sprung to action. His limbs shook with energy as his hands quickly pulled levers, pushed buttons, and cranked bars. He was setting his track to London, Earth of the year 2017. There had to be someone who had stars in their eyes. He would find one, see everything they had to offer, and give them a chance to grow. The Tardis materialized with the telltale grinding. Did the noise not concern him? Putting on his overcoat he headed for the door of his Tardis, shouting "Allons-y!" with immeasureable enthusiasm. The light of the sun's ray hit his face. Oh beautiful Sol! His smile was large and optimistic. It was the first time he felt this way since erasing Donna's memories... and wasn't it just... Brilliant?
