Literally. The TARDIS was malfunctioning due to sustaining damages from The Time Lord's regeneration energy, and was spiraling out of the time vortex in a haze, landing in the backyard of a young Amelia Pond. She had somewhat nursed him back to health and helped him realized what kind of food he liked, fish fingers and custard oddly enough. In return, she wanted to go with him on his adventures through time, however the TARDIS was still in need of repairs, too dangerous for a little girl. He had promised her five minutes. Five minutes to get the TARDIS back in working order, and then he would return. However, once the TARDIS was repaired, he overshot it. He didn't return in five minutes...he returned several years later, when Amy Pond was now a fully grown woman. One adventure to retrieve the elusive "Prisoner Zero" and many apologies later, Amy then joined The Doctor as his full time companion along with her boyfriend and future husband Rory Williams. The Trio went on many adventures, some of which with the mysterious woman River Song. However, it seemed that River Song was closer to the three then they realized. After many adventures facing off with creatures called "The Silence", they learned that River Song was actually the daughter of Amy and Rory, Melody Pond, renamed River Song by the people of the planet she was raised on as an orphan. As a doubly shocking twist, she and the Doctor would end up getting married. The four were one big happy family, traveling throughout the universe on many adventures. However, things would soon take a turn for the worst. After an adventure gone wrong in 1938 involving the fearsome Weeping Angels, The Doctor would lose Rory, Amy, and River. Once more, he was alone. Heartbroken and defeated, The Doctor elected to retire, living out a life of obscurity in Victorian Era London. Things didn't work out that way, however. He was soon discovered by a girl named Clara Oswin Oswald...but that couldn't be. Oswin Oswald died centuries in the future...she was a woman captured and killed by the Daleks...what was she doing here? He wouldn't have much time to investigate this however, as the two then face off against sentient living snowmen generated by The Great Intelligence, and old enemy of The Doctor. Clara would sadly die once again during this quest. However, The Doctor knew she wouldn't stay dead. She came back once, so he reasoned that she would come back again. He spent most of his time looking for her, and found her this time in present day London. The two go on many adventures, the most notable being facing down a planet destroying entity worshiped as a god, stopping an extra terrestrial parasite's conquest of earth, facing Cybermites, newly improved versions of the Cybermats that cause The Doctor to face off against a darker, more malevolent version of himself controlled by The Cybermen, and an adventure where he must confront his past actions during the Time War, with his previous incarnations The Tenth Doctor and The War Doctor as his allies. The Eleventh Doctor's final adventure would lead him to a town called Christmas, where he learns that the Time Lords did indeed survive the Time War after all. However, he also learns that his enemies are all laying in wait in orbit, ready to wipe the town off the map should the Time Lords truly return. The Doctor realizes that this is it. This is how he dies. He spends his remaining days defending the small town from his enemies' daily attacks. Clara pleads with the Time Lords to save him, to give him another regeneration cycle in return for all he's done for them. The Time Lords agree, and give The Doctor a fresh new regeneration cycle. In the comfort of the TARDIS, he makes a secret call to Clara in the future, telling her to help him through his next regeneration, then he says goodbye, and regenerates. the role player alias • Red age • 21 pronouns • He/Him Rp experience• Well over eight years How did you find us?• I found an ad on another site. role play sample sample • The Doctor stood in front of the TARDIS, dressed in his dark violet tweed and bow tie ensemble, a large tophat sitting on his head as he walked out of the alleyway he was hidden in. This place looked like Victorian Era London, but it wasn't. It was clearly on another planet in another star system, yet it bared a striking resemblance to his adopted planet of Earth. The only difference? The people here had green skin. 'Bit cliched, if you ask me.' The Doctor thought to himself as he walked through the sleepy town streets, adjusting his bow tie ever so slightly as he strolled down the sidewalk. This was quite peculiar, yet at the same time, very interesting. He was on a planet that seemed visually similar to earth in almost every way, the only difference being that these "humans" had green skin. There was no way that they could be human, they were clearly alien like he was, as they didn't appear reptilian like the Silureans, who also had a green pigmentation in their skin. Although that was mostly because they had scales instead of skin, being reptilian. The more and more The Doctor walked down the street and examined this small the community, the wider and wider his smile grew. "Brilliant." He muttered to himself. The people of the town were all staring at him as he walked, perplexed at his complexion. The Doctor chuckled, knowing it was most likely due to the fact that he wasn't green like the rest of them. "Haven't you ever heard of the quote, 'Judge a man not by the color of his skin, but by the content of his character?'" That little proclamation only earned him more confused looks from the people of this town. "Right, that was a civil rights leader from a different planet, you wouldn't know who he is, right then! I'll just be on my way!" He said, turning right back around and stepping back inside of his TARDIS. With a flick of a switch and two button presses, he was back inside the twisting and turning Time Vortex. "Quite peculiar, that." he said to himself with a slight chuckle as he tossed the tophat off of his head and onto one of the many railings of the TARDIS's main platform. Where was he off to next? He didn't know. And that was just the way he liked it. |
