Hello, hello patrons of DWF! Since we have a growing body of members, I will be conducting my first round of mod hiring! If you are interested in becoming a trusted staff member of the site, please keep reading so you will get the gist of what your duties will entail. If you are chosen as staff, please expect a PM from The Administrator to give you a detailed description of your rights and responsibilities.
Moderator Responsibilities:
1. Enforce all rules on the site. This is to ensure everyone is treated fairly and allows all to enjoy their time on DWF.
2. Accept/Decline Character Applications. This is straight forward but comes with its own set of rules.
3. As a mod, you must assign groups to all accepted members.
4. You may be asked for different permissions from guests and members. You are permitted to either approve or reject requests, but all requests received must be reported to The Administrator for tracking reasons.
5. Assist guests and members with questions. As a staff member, it is your duty to be helpful and assist new and old members with anything they may need.
6. Complete the claims. Members will post in the claims board when they are ready to make their claims. Your job is to add their claims to the list when they appear!
Brownie Points:
1. Advertise for DWF. You will earn brownie points from me if you conduct advertisement efforts and request affiliation with other proboards sites. Please report to me if you have done this.
2. Conjuring up Site plots to discuss with me and other staff. Though anyone on the site can do this, staff will earn special rights if they lead their own Site-Wide plot.
3. Assist The Administrator in planning, plotting, and organising the site. If you have any suggestions, never hesitate to speak with me. DWF is meant for all and should constantly be improved.
Communications:
1. Mods are required to communicate through DWF's PM system.
2. Mods should be willing to speak outside of the site with free communication systems such as Dischord. I will never ask for your personal info so please do not provide it. I am not asking you to add me on any personal messaging system (ie. Skype, Facebook messenger, etc.).
The Administrator 's Comments:
1. All staff must make a separate account named after their Alias (with a matching or similar username if possible). This will be your mod account that will gain site privileges.
2. I will train ALL STAFF on how to edit the site, members, cbox, etc.
3. Moderators who fail to follow their responsibilities will be removed as a mod after two warnings.
4. Immediate stripping of site privileges will be done if a mod abuses their powers.
5. Inactive mods will be reevaluated for their staffing eligibility and may be removed until their return.
